Mission: Tracy Sestili created the Beverly Fund to honor a promise she made to her mother, who died of small cell carcinoma in January 2006. The Beverly Fund's mission is to put a face on lung cancer and give a voice to those who have been affected by this disease. Find a cure for lung cancer by finding the causes of lung cancer and provide aid in research that will improve the quality of life of those suffering with lung cancer. Advocate for early detection to help prohibit people from ever getting lung cancer. Raise awareness on the effects and causes of lung cancer nationwide through Kites for Cancer Awareness, Remember November campaigns and Request the Test program. Volunteer Opportunities: The Beverly Fund provides opportunities to support their initiatives and programs and also offers suggestions for how others to take individual action.
