Fort Myers Lung Cancer Patient Group to Learn About New Lung Cancer Research and Treatment Options

FORT MYERS, FL- (August 6, 2024) The August meeting of the LiveLung Fort Myers Lung Cancer group will feature Shyam Kapadia, MD, who will discuss “What’s New in Lung Cancer?” The meeting, which is free and open to all lung cancer patients, survivors and their care partners, will be held at 11:30 am, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Hyatt Place Fort Myers at the Forum, 2600 Champion Ring Road, Fort Myers. Lunch will be provided.

Dr. Kapadia, who will share with the group some of the recent advancements in lung cancer treatments, as well as research areas showing promise, is a Pulmonologist and Critical Care Specialist at Lee Health and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences, Division of Internal Medicine Residency Lee Health/Cape Coral, at the Florida State University College of Medicine. He also serves as the System Medical Director of the Pulmonary Nodule Program.
