Monthly Fort Myers Lung Cancer Patient Group to Learn About “Chemo Brain”

FORT MYERS, FL- (May 3, 2024) The May meeting of the LiveLung Fort Myers Lung Cancer group will feature Stacey Brill M.S.CCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist at Lee Health Cancer Center, who will discuss Chemo Brain.

This free meeting is open to all lung cancer patients and survivors and their care partners. The meeting will be held at 11:30 am, Tuesday, July16, 2024 at Hyatt Place Fort Myers at the Forum, 2600 Champion Ring Road, Fort Myers. Lunch will be provided.

Stacey Brill M.S.CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist certified by the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. She specializes in the area of Dysphagia associated with Oral/Head/Neck Cancer rehabilitation. Brill is the Founder and facilitator of local chapter of SPOHNC (Support for People with Oral, Head, Neck Cancer), Founder and event Chairperson of annual awareness walk/run for Head/Neck Cancer to raise funds for local head/neck cancer grant, and organizer of annual free community wide screenings for Oral, Head, Neck Cancer. She created Head/Neck cancer pathway, and Laryngectomy education modules for the Lee Health System, and Ciao Seminars instructor for head/neck cancer CEU course.
