Jason Porter, MD is a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist in Thoracic Medical Oncology at the West Cancer Center in Germantown, TN where he is also Director of the Lung Disease Research Group. Dr. Porter earned his M.D. at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis.

He completed his residency at University of Tennessee Health Science Center followed by a fellowship in Hematology Oncology at the West Cancer Center with time also spent in the Division of Thoracic Oncology at the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Porter is Board Certified in Medical Oncology. He is Principal and Sub Investigator for clinical studies related to Lung Cancer. His professional memberships include ASCO and IASLC and he is an advisor for a variety of organizations including Research Advisor for the Thoracic Research Group at Vanderbilt University and National Medical Advisor for 50 Hoops.
